1. Information we handle

Website operation

Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, requested pages, and security events to deliver and protect the site.

AI assistant

If you choose “Continue with AI,” the messages you enter and recent messages needed to maintain the conversation are sent to OpenAI to generate a response. The assistant is clearly identified as AI before chat begins. Bio-Consultant does not create its own persistent transcript database, and the visible conversation is held only in the current page session. OpenAI may process and retain limited data under its applicable API data and abuse-monitoring practices.

Contact and follow-up requests

If you ask Kenneth to follow up, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company, project summary, preferred contact method, source page path, timestamps, and a record of the permissions you selected. The AI chat transcript is not attached to the contact request. Our email provider, Resend, delivers the notification to Bio-Consultant.

2. How we use information

• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
• To generate the AI response you requested.
• To answer an inquiry and determine whether there may be a consulting fit.
• To honor communication preferences, opt-outs, and legal obligations.
• To prevent spam, fraud, misuse, and excessive automated API use.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, our legal basis may be your consent, steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business.

3. Email, calls, texts, and AI voice

Providing contact information is optional. We contact you through the channel you select only after you affirm the permission shown for that channel. Permission for email, a human phone call, text messages, and an AI-generated or prerecorded voice call is handled separately. Consent is not a condition of purchase and may be withdrawn.

For text messages, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not use an inquiry permission for unrelated marketing without a separate opt-in.

The website records a request but does not verify control of a submitted phone number. Any automated text or AI-assisted voice outreach must wait until number ownership and consent are verified through the applicable communications provider. See theMessaging Terms.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers acting on our behalf, including OpenAI for Sites hosting and AI processing, Cloudflare for infrastructure and security, and Resend for transactional email delivery. They receive only the information reasonably needed to provide those services and process it under their own contracts and privacy terms.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties except service providers that help deliver the requested communications, or when disclosure is required by law.

5. Retention and security

The website does not maintain a Bio-Consultant database of AI transcripts. Browser session data ends with the session. Cryptographically transformed identifiers and counters used for abuse prevention expire after their limit window and are removed by subsequent automated cleanup; exact deletion timing may vary with site traffic. Submitted inquiries and permission records are retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, document permissions, and comply with law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential browser storage may remember that you viewed the AI disclosure, preserve a temporary session identifier, and remember your chosen chat-button position. See our Cookie Policy.

7. International processing

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, applicable transfer safeguards are used by the relevant provider.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; to withdraw consent; or to appeal certain decisions. You may also opt out of communications at any time. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

9. Children

This website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site.

10. Changes and contact
